Episode 8 Boyfriend
After a couple of days of teen angst and severe fallout from an abusive ex - Charlie and Nick finally make it official. Well, to each other, anyway. Nick swears he wants to come out to his friends. But we’ll have to wait until Season 2 to see if he follows through.
Here we go, episode 8.
Look, I get that Ben was struggling with figuring himself out and felt he couldn’t talk to his family. But that is no excuse for how he treated Charlie!
Tori is such a Queen!
I call him The Boy Who Sees Everything
I do hate that Charlie sacrifices so much - Rugby, Nick, his own happiness - just to get on Tao’s good side. Honestly, I still blame Elle.
Charlie, my sweet boy, YOU ARE NOT A CURSE!!
I still maintain that ever Queer kid needs a teacher like Mr. Ajayi!
The way Charlie looks down at him, literally, is such a great metaphor! Talk about turning tables.
Tao behaved quite selfishly in this episode, but I am glad he and Charlie made up.
Isaac is my very fav and I hate that we don’t get more of him.
Explain to me how Nick pulls Charlie from the field and none of these kids figure it out!! Only Charlie and Nicks friends. I know teenagers are self involved, but none of them had suspicions?!
Gods bless Charlie’s friend group!
This moment in the corridor is so so sweet.
These two are just so adorable.
I told y’all I was going to do this!
Every Queer kid deserves a mom like Sarah. If everyone could just accept us like this, there would be no fear of coming out.
A sweet and happy ending to Season 1. But will it stay that way?
That’s the end of Season 1. Stay tuned for Season 2.
