Episode 6 Truth/Dare

Tell the truth and show your heart to the entire class? Or take the dare and do something that could leave an invisible scar? Decisions are being made in Paris, in this episode.

Teenagers, alcohol, mostly unsupervised, and a different country. What could go wrong…

Nick’s dad is an ass. I know terrible fathers and this man is Type A terrible dad!

How adorable are Isaac, Charlie, and Nick doing the Where’s Wally book together? Also, I see you Heartstopper. Nice side step right there.

I love that the boys are just as excited as the girls about Tao and Elle’s kiss.

And bless Tara, who is not messing around!

That look on Isaac’s face - I understand that look far too well. Don’t worry Isaac, you lead us both to some much needed answers in the next episode!

This hallway convo between Nick and Charlie about coming out is so sweet. I love how supportive Charlie is. And I am so proud of Nick. For what he says here and what is about to come.

The group taking Isaac to the book store is so sweet. They may not quite understand Isaac, yet, but they love him and want him to know that he matters. This is peak friend group. They even make sure to include him in the photos during their tour of the city.

You can see Nick instantly relax when they enter the LGBTQIA+ Community.

I love that they are focusing more on Isaac this season. Showing how difficult it is to be the only single person in a room full of couples and wanna be couples, is so important. It’s a lonely place to be and our story rarely gets told. Bless Heartstopper for breaking ground!

It’s even more difficult when you don’t understand why you feel the way you feel and what is happening inside of you. Tobie does such a fabulous job showing the loneliness and confusion.

I’m so proud of Charlie for refusing Harry’s apology and shutting the door in his face. Our boy is really finding himself.

Tao kissing Charlie, during Spin The Bottle, is hilarious. And Nick’s face is priceless.

And this one! Picking on Charlie like they do! But they do inspire Nick to find his courage and come out, so I’ll try to forgive them.

Isaac’s sadness is killing me! Poor guy is sitting there struggling to understand what happened between him and James in the hallway. And now he has to sit here and watch his friends and classmates kiss and talk about their relationships.

But Nick taking Charlie’s hand, confessing to the hickey, and telling everyone that they are dating is such a sweet scene. I am really really proud of Nick.

Why do they take Darcy to Ajayi and Farouq instead of to a toilet? I have watched this episode so many times and I am still so confused by this decision!

I do love Ajayi and Farouq, though! Watching them realize they’re attracted to each other is so sweet and adorable.

I don’t know what Joe and Kit are saying to each during this final montage, but I love the way they are making each other laugh. They may even talk about this in an interview, somewhere. But I am still working my way through those. Price I pay for being 3 years late to the show.

Well the big truth is finally out there. See ya next time for Sorry.
